Sports Training
Gone are the days when "pumping iron" on muscle beach was thought to create elite athletes! While athletes will become bigger and stronger, moving with speed and suppleness are far more important to excelling in today’s sports. In order to be effective, athletes must be able to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction as quickly as humanly possible.
NextGen Athletics accomplishes this by exposing our athletes to progressively complex movement strategies and challenging situations, while allowing them to succeed.
Training groups are composed of 3-10 athletes of similar goals and ages. Across 10 years of coaching, I have found that this group size allows for optimal individual feedback while encouraging a healthy, competitive culture for athletes to excel.
Recommended Frequency
The ages between 8-12 in a child's development have been determined through research to be the most important years of physical development to determine life long potential. This does not imply heavy weight lifting, but movement quality and coordination.
Athletes ages 8-12 are recommended to train 2 days/week.
Athletes older than 13 are recommended to train 3-4 days/week.

Teenage Performance
Specifically designed for all athletes 13-18 years olds looking to build explosive speed, strength, and stamina that transfers competition.
The elite do NOT rely solely on team practice to become the best; they put in the work when the rest are not willing.
YOUTH Performance
Training designed SPECIFICALLY for 8-12 year old athletes of all sports.
This group will be focused on building great coordination, smooth movement, and introduction to athletic training. This is the foundation of physical and mental development that translates to both sport and life.
Small Group Personal Training
These groups that are the most in depth and personalized I offer for athletes.
Athletes can create their own groups of 3-6 of similar age.
